Premier Collar
 The Premier?? Collar - Used with a leash or with your hand, the martingale-style Premier Collar tightens to give greater control and reduces the risk of a dog ??backing out?? and escaping. Because it offers limited closure, it??s safer than a traditional choke collar. It??s wonderful for use in training classes, on walks, or around the home.
Better Than a Buckle When a standard buckle collar is adjusted for the comfort of your dog, many breeds can "back out" and escape if suddenly frightened - leaving you with an empty collar dangling at the end of your leash, and a potentially lost or injured pet. But when fitted more snugly, a buckle collar is often uncomfortable for your dog and can mat his coat or produce bald spots from rubbing. Safer Than a Choke When pulled, a choke collar continues to tighten around your dog's neck, restricting both breathing and blood supply. Choke collars do exactly what the name implies and are often asssociated with injuries when used improperly. Choke collars should never be left on your pet when not in use with a leash. Choosing the Right Size Unlike other collars, the measurement taken for the Premier Collar is at the top of the neck directly behing the ears (see in measurement A below). This corresponds with the size of the collar in the closed position, so it is not necessary to "add inches."
